Dentures are a common replacement for multiple missing teeth. Because dentures are removable, you can easily remove them for cleaning as needed. In order to meet all of your individual dental needs, we offer three main types of dentures in Tigard, OR:
- Conventional full dentures – These are used to replace all of the teeth in the upper dental arch, lower arch, or both dental arches. Conventional complete dentures are worn after your gums have healed following the extraction of your teeth.
- Immediate full dentures – These full dentures are designed to be worn immediately after your teeth are removed. This allows you to never be without teeth, but immediate dentures will require follow-up visits for adjustment as your gums heal.
- Partial dentures – A partial denture is used when some natural teeth are left in your smile. This is similar to a dental bridge but is removable.
It may take some time to get used to wearing your new dentures, but over time, they will come to feel natural and allow you to speak and eat more comfortably. Be sure to properly care for your dentures with regular brushing and cleaning. For more information on dentures and how we can restore your complete smile, we invite you to
